Rocacea
Rocacea, more commonly known as rosacea, is a skin condition. It is chronic. There is no cure. Rocacea affects only adults. It may be progressive. It can also be intermittent. Often the condition is mistaken for bad acne. In severe cases of rosacea, enlarged blood vessels occur around the nose. It appears bulbous, red and unattractive. In this case, a plastic surgeon can treat rocacea. He or she can choose to use electrosurgery or laser treatments to reduce and/or remove the overt cosmetic affects of the health problem. One of the most common and effective means of treatment is IPL. IPL refers to intense pulsed light. These forms of plastic surgery may remove the excess tissue.
