Back Pimples
Back pimples are a form of acne that has come to be commonly known as bacne. Acne does not only appear on the face and back pimples are common in both adolescent and adult males and females. Back pimples are the result of conditions similar to those at the root of facial acne: excess oil, excess dead skin, excess bacteria, clogged pores and ingrown hairs. While clothes are generally not thought to cause of back pimples the repeated rubbing of an area by an article of clothing or a piece of sports equipment may irate the area and predispose it to back pimples. Treatment for back pimples is similar to that of facial acne and may include salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, oral antibiotics, Accutane and Retin A. Showering immediately after working out is a good way to prevent back pimples.
